ABOUT
Dilan Tanburoğlu (b. 27 July 1993) is a London and Istanbul based artist. After studying fine arts and fashion in Turkey, she continued her education in Madrid, focusing on painting and artistic techniques. Her early engagement with drawing forms the foundation of her practice.
Her work explores themes of existence, investigating identity and processes of self-discovery through the lens of
fashion, history, and the cities she has inhabited. Currently based in London, she creates works situated between
figuration and abstraction, examining human nature, psychology, and historically shaped patterns of behaviour through constructed characters.
